aunt sarah dolls

I was looking for fun kids projects this weekend and came across this tutorial for making a doll using a photo for the face. What a great idea for kids who don’t get to see their relatives all that often. Also, the tutorial contains some useful info on products to use for printing photos on fabric.

flock photography

Tom wrote to me about his new site, Flock Photography. He is a UK-based photographer who created Flock Photography for people looking for affordable and different photography for interior decoration. The site allows you to search for photographs based on criteria such as which room it will be in, the style of decor and (my favorite) paint color – you can search for a photo to complement or match a manufactured paint color, though only two brands of paint are available. now. The site is still a work in progress and Tom hopes to add other photographers’ work to the site. Still, it’s a pretty cool idea for anyone looking to pick up some fairly inexpensive artwork for their homes.
