Check out twotwelve’s etsy shop – they make notepads and journals from recycled papers and then cover them with an original road trip photo print.

  • re-cord/record album

    record_album.jpg

These re-cord photo albums are fun (and made of mostly recycled materials).
Capture your memories…eco-style! These classic photo albums are created using a vinyl record cover – with the record still in its jacket! Each record has lived a full life and was rescued from its slumber and bound with 20 pages of thick, black, acid-free and recycled paper. Re-cord pages contain the most reused and recycled content possible.

$30 CDN and ships to both Canada and the US.

Jessica posted on the recycled goods from Tiffany Tomato Designs and these frames from pop labels and candy wrappers are pretty cool. Also, cool picture envelopes from old magazines – I’ve been thinking about doing some envelopes with old photos, so now I’m excited to get crackin’ and mail me some letters.

  • Boon is good

    boon.jpg
Boon, the newly launched business of Anjel and Via, is focused on creating unique paper goods using pulp-free abaca papers that are made by a paper-making program in the Phillippines, with proceeds going to local education and a women’s shelter. The designs include some lovely alternatives for holding your photos. They are just now getting retailers, so I’ll post an update on where to buy in the future.

    Magnetic Picture Frames (above):
Little magnetic all handmade paper picture frames, tucked in a pouch. Tree-pulp free, they are made from grass fibers. Ribbon handle detailing. Cute, cute, and more cute!

    Three-tier Picture Frames (below):
These frames are made entirely of handmade paper! Tree-pulp free, they are made from grass fibers. Lightweight, colorful and durable. A playful touch to any space.

  • red camper

    red camper.jpg
Red camper bags, designed by Maura Gramzinski, are made from vintage, original slides from 1939-99. Seven styles to choose from, each with it’s own naked lady “are you paying attention” slide. Not only are slides recycled, the rubber handle is, too. Got a box of slides collecting dust? Get your own custom bag made. And if you just want to recycle your slides, you can email for info on sending them in for a new life as a bag. Available online at indie shopper, snazzy girl and etsy.
